OS FEC Trains 202, 101 & 107 June 14, 2013

The church conference moves down to the Elk Lodge in Vero Beach and the good thing about it is, the tracks are VERY close by. Went out to see if FEC202-14 was coming as the gates of 26th Street started to descend. Meet in Micco with FEC101-14 as 107 & 710 pulls this long train north past the switch as Gifford South as the signal displayed GREEN over double RED. No rock here as IM, wells and spine cars are seen on top as autoracks are seen on the bottom as they tower over cars, looking like a wall being pulled through the city. EoT at 5:48PM.

30 minutes go by as I see the headlights of the locomotive glow over Gifford as he rounds the bend at the Vero Beach Airport near Aviation Blvd.( 33rd Street ). Bells at 26th Street ring as 104 & Heritage714 lead this LONG train with autoracks on top and a whole wall of IM on the bottom. EoT at 10:53PM.( Notice how all 3 trains had Red, Pearl & Blue units leading. I guessing it was for Flag Day. )

OS FEC Train 101-14
Dominick had texted me when FEC101-14 had passed him up at Port Malabar Blvd, so I knew that the meet( since I'm in Vero near Gifford South ) would take about 45 minutes to an hour. South of 26th Street was 14th Avenue, a street that diagonally crosses the tracks. With a curve between both streets, I knew I was going to get a great shot of this 12,000 foot monster. Bell rings as 106 & Heritage713 lead this long train of IM, wells and spine cars as they head south to Miami. EoT at 6:40PM.

OS FEC Train 107-14
The church conference had been going on for about 3 hours but was soon going to end.
