OS FEC Trains 202 & 101 Thu. June 27, 2013
Shot down Old Dixie Highway to meet up with Caboose Mikey and Signalman Dave Major as we all wait for FEC202-27. The sweet Nathan P3 horn is heard as Jim gives us toots from the Heritage703 & the 719. Rock on top, IM in the middle and autoracks on the bottom as the EoT passes us at 5:00PM. Meet in Palm Bay as I let Jesse Hearndon and Dominick Nobili know that 202 has passed me. Meet takes a little bit over an hour as I shoot to CR512EASTBOUND crossing. Gates come down as 100 & CITX142( with its door open ). Nothing but IM on this train, very long as well, possibly 11,000 - 12,000 feet. EoT at 6:03PM. Automatic signal activation couple seconds later.
