OS FEC Trains 210, 920 & 109 Fri. June 28, 2013
The sun peaks over the clouds on this beautiful Friday morning as I spot FEC109-28 crossing Pineda South, FEC210-28 at Gifford South and FEC920-28 coming out of Fort Pierce. I head to the premier crossing CR512WEST( I always get good shots here ) as 100 & CITX142 lead FEC210-28. IM containers and pigs on top with wells following behind as autoracks make their appearance on the bottom. Rare sight to see. EoT at 9:00AM. Literally 10 minutes after, 717LHF leads FEC920-28 with a tank on top and 11 FEC rock hoppers on the bottom. EoT at 9:10AM. Meet in Micco complete as FEC109-28 heads south as I hear the sweet horn of the gorgeous Heritage714 as 708 trails behind. IM on top with wells following behind as cement hoppers, rock hoppers and gondolas are seen on the bottom. Very rare to see that. EoT at 9:43AM.
