OS FEC Trains 101 & 202 Tuesday December 31, 2013
Meet in Gifford is set for FEC101-31 & FEC202-31 as the dispatcher tells FEC101-31 to slow down for FEC202-31 to get out of Fort Pierce. Gates at CR512EAST come down as 102, 702 & 431LHF are seen leading. IM seen on top with autoracks seen in the middle as more IM is seen on the bottom. EoT at 5:03PM. I shoot down Old Dixie Highway to greet Caboose Anita as we both wait for the meet to be done in Gifford. We talk for a long time as the headlights of FEC202-31 are seen coming around the curve. With sparklers lit, raised and waved, ECH & Jim respond with toots and waves on the 103, CITX140 & 719. Rock on top with NS coal cars as covered hoppers, tanks, IM, manifest and autoracks are seen on the bottom. EoT at 5:52PM.
