OS FEC Trains 202 & 101 Sunday December 15, 2013
With it still cloudy outside, I head out for FEC202-15 as they begin to approach Sebastian. Gates at 512WEST come down as 106 & CITX142 are seen leading this nice 9,300 foot train of autoracks, manifest and ALOT of tanks as the EoT passes me at 6:49PM. I head up to Wally World( WalMart ) to buy a new pair of sunglasses as I hear the engines of FEC202-15 revving up in Micco(they did a meet and crew swap there)......I though I was hearing things but.....that was completely crazy. I check the block signal( MP213.3/4 )and I see a red over red signal with red on the other side. The bottom of FEC202-15 hasn't cleared Micco South yet. Suddenly all the lights turn off and the green pops on for FEC101-15, telling me the switch is properly lined for him. Red over red pops on the other face of the signal as 708, Champion715 & 419 are seen working hard to get this 11,000 foot train back up to speed as autoracks and IM are seen here. 2 ASHLEYS seen in the mix as the EoT passes me at 7:24PM.
