OS FEC Trains 101 & 202 Thursday December 26, 2013
Such a nice day it is outside to watch some trains as FEC101-26 & FEC202-26 get lined up for the meet in Gifford. At CR512EAST, gates come down as toots are given from the Ugly719, Champion703 & 429 as they are seen leading FEC101-26. Nothing but IM seen on this 8,940 foot train as plenty of FEC containers are seen on the bottom. EoT at 5:25PM. My friend Matt Gooden and I hang around the park as we shortly hit CR512WEST to wait for FEC202-26 as the meet is complete. As he stood on the pedestrian gate side and with me on the other side, toots are given from the 100 & 102 as covered hoppers, tanks and other freight are seen on top with IM following behind as autoracks and manifest is seen on the bottom. EoT at 6:10PM.
