Nice and cool day to see some trains as FEC101-30, a very short 6,500 foot train is seen crossing Palm Bay South. Some birds chillin' on the railroad tracks as I hear the engines rumble. Gates here at CR512WEST come down as ECH greets me from the 105, Champion713 & the 427 as they take this nice train of IM south to Miami. Two ASHLEYS seen in the mix as the EoT passes me at 5:23PM. FEC202-30 finally gets out of Fort Pierce( after picking up ) as I head to 512EAST to see him. Headlights getting brighter as 102, 702 & the 431LHF are seen leading with centerbeams, tanks, covered hoppers, IM, autoracks and box cars in the mix. EoT at 7:34PM. Meet with FEC107-30 in Titusville as the outside temps just keep getting lower. It was 65F for the first train, now 57F. Hearing the sweet horn being blow at Roseland Road, it didn't take long for Main Street's signals to activate. Gates here at 512EAST come down as 103, CITX140 & the 719LHF are seen leading as nice 11,000 foot train of IM with a bit of manifest in the middle. Couple of BeautyRest pigs seen in the mix as the EoT passes me at 10:01PM.
FEC101-30
Down again. The last time this sign was down was February of 2012. I removed it and put in to a different post and in May of 2012, a new sign went up. December of 2013( Christmas week ), back down again.
FEC202-30
Downed advanced railroad crossing sign posted. I had taken it off the post it was and mounted it to this post. May be a bit short than the one on the left of it and earlier, but it still gives warning.
