OS FEC Trains 240, 202,101 & 107 ( SOUTHBOUNDS )- Sunday October 6, 2013
Night falls quickly as I go back home after seeing FEC202-06. I knew FEC101-06 was going to meet FEC240-06 in Palm Bay and FEC202-06 in Micco. Pit stop time for me as I heat up 2 hot dogs and grab some water for refueling as I head back out to see FEC101-06 after the crew swap. Gates at CR512EAST come down as Champion703, 717 & 704 lead this 12,400 foot train south to Hialeah. Nothing but intermodal and piggies here as the EoT passes me at 9:00PM on the dot. The red light changes from amber to green as I look at ATCS to find FEC107-06 lined down as far as Stuart. I don't head home but I head to Dunkin Donuts to blow some time talking to folks who gather to have some coffee and ice cream. It wasn't before long until FEC107-06 started crossing Micco South as I head back to CR512EAST. I see the headlight come around the corner as I get toots from the 101, CITX141 & the 719. Autoracks on top with IM following behind and manifest following behind. EoT at 10:28PM.
