OS FEC Trains 109, 336 & 210 Saturday January 11, 2014
Woke up this morning to find FEC226-11 in Palm Bay. I kinda had a feeling Dominick was up and at em' watching the train go by. Sure enough, I was correct. FEC109, 336 & 210 are the trains today as the meet and crew swap with all 3 are set in Gifford. I head out to 512EAST to see FEC109-11 as 441 is blastin' with a loud horn as 433 is seen trailing. WalMarts and other IM are seen on top as tanks, covered hoppers and Tropicana Juice cars are seen on the bottom. EoT at 9:09AM. Dominick tells me there is an FEC336-11 coming my way and I didn't really believe him until I checked the monitor. Sure enough the crew swap was complete and here they come marching up the coast. At the old Truman Street crossing, I watch FEC336-11 come around the curve at Main Street as two yahoos illegally cross the tracks WITH BIKES and beat the train seconds before it gets to me. These guys must be experts at this cause they ran across the tracks like it was nothing to them. Engineer waves to me from the 717 as Champion716 & 708LHF as I am to believe he had his hand on the emergency brake. A long train of rock seen here with plenty of graffiti as the EoT passes me at 9:46PM. Last train of this morning is FEC210-11 as toots are given from the 104 & the CITX141. Nice train of IM seen here as an ASHLEY and a SuperBoard is seen in the mix as tanks are seen on the bottom. EoT at 10:05AM.
