OS FEC Trains 920, 226 & 210 Friday January 10, 2014
I thought I had totally missed this train( FEC920-10) since my friend and I went to the store to pick up some snacks.Thinking is was FEC226-10 when I was riding my bike, I head to the old Fellsmere Railroad to see him. Gates come down as FEC920-10 is seen with 427 leading as 16 filled rock hoppers head north to Pineda. EoT at 9:09AM. The sun breaks out a bit as I head to the switch at MP214.9. FEC226-10 was literally on FEC920-10's tail as I hear the horn being blown at 99th Street.Gates at 512WEST close the crossing as 702 & 435 are seen leading this nice train of IM. Some rare things found on this train like Yang Ming containers( maybe seen more on THIS train but not others ) and SeaLand well cars with the specialty build walls for double stacks. EoT passes me a t 9:21AM. Didn't take long for FEC210-10 to pass through as well as Champions715 & 711 are seen leading. I guess Champion720 was taken off due to filling up Hialeah Yard with too much smoke( my guess :P ). Nice train of IM seen here as 2 ASHLEYs are seen in the mix. EoT at 9:36AM.
